This hotel was warm, comfortable and homely. The foyer was welcoming and beautifully decorated. The staff (Reception and all those we passed in the halls) were friendly & accommodating. The room was small, functional & clean and ours had a partial view of the Opera house-BONUS! Ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The best thing about the hotel was the location. Right in the heart of the Rocks which has more personality than the concrete jungle of the CBD. Multitude of options for eating out within steps of the door. Circular Quay, Opera House, CBD within a quick stroll. Will definitely stay again next visit.

The location was amazing. We could walk to the harbor, only a couple of blocks away. There was a wonderful restaurant just around the corner. There were several bakeries. Little shops with lots of things to buy. It was Mardi Gras and we enjoyed the little kiosks and bought many souvenirs. There was a restaurant downstairs that we never dined in, but it had an exit to a Starbucks, another bakery and other wonderful restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. The girls at the front desk were great. They were very prompt whenever we had a request for extra towels or coffee and very helpful.

This was a very nice hotel. We found the room to be comfortable and fairly spacious, with very comfortable beds, a nice little coffee/tea bar, and was quiet. We enjoyed the location quite a bit as it was a very easy walk to the opera house, harbour bridge and gardens. There were plenty of places to eat in the area as well. The hotel had iced tea out each day and bottles of still or sparkling water available at the bar for no charge which we found to be a nice touch. We didn't end up having drinks or dining at the hotel as our schedule didn't permit, but the facilities looked nice.

Adrian

The staff exceptional, there was a little hiccup with breakfast and room plumbing. But the staff where so fabulous and genuinely doing their utmost to take care of us, that it completely outweighed the problems. The proximity to the harbour and view amazing. Harbour Bridge, Opera house, Luna Park! And In the morning a enormous cruise ship had arrived silently in the night and took up the whole skyline. Not something you get to see everyday. The location and fit out fabulous.

The location is excellent. Close to transport (ferey bus train and metro), able to walk everywhere easily if you prefer. The staff were outstanding , especially the check in. NIght staff. Beautiful garden area to sit and watch the world go by or lobby library if you had some time to spare. Has a lovely ambience and feeling to it. Area Felt safe and people around all the time. Would stay again. Had kettle iron hairdryer and charging points.
